Residential leases generally transition to month-to-month tenancies upon expiration of their initial lease terms, with annual rent adjustments implemented in accordance with the allowable increases established by the San Francisco Rent Board.
Northside Apartments, Inc. provides centralized management and oversight for the portfolio. Individual properties are held in affiliated property-owning entities. We maintain detailed operational and financial oversight to ensure all rent increases, notices, and tenancy practices comply with applicable regulations.
We prioritize efficient and environmentally conscious operations across our portfolio. To reduce paper waste and improve responsiveness, rent payments, maintenance requests, and tenant communications are managed through our centralized online tenant platform.
The system provides secure electronic payment processing, streamlined maintenance coordination, and direct communication with management, allowing for efficient day-to-day property operations, tied directly to our accounting systems, minimizing administrative overhead and environmental impact.
Responsive Management
Our residents have direct access to a management team that knows our buildings and takes responsibility for resolving issues. A dedicated operations manager coordinates day-to-day tenant matters and maintenance requests, while our controller handles rent and tenant financial matters.
We maintain a roster of trusted construction and repair professionals with whom we work on a regular basis who provide us reliable and responsive support for repairs, maintenance, and warranty work across the portfolio. This continuity allows us to respond efficiently while maintaining consistent standards from property to property.
